VPC - Updates

The Virtual Perpetual Calendars site is not static. As I find errors or people point out errors I make the corrections. I also make improvements on the site, adding new information and better present the information. this page is to document those changes, when I made them, and who suggested them, if not myself.

11/14/2004Jeremy TrainerPointed out that Orthodox Easter I had specified for 2005 was not, in fact a Sunday. It appears I had entered the wrong date for Orthodox Easter for not only 2005, but every year 2001-2010. These are now corrected. Thanks!
10/20/2004Found Google's Blogger tool, setting up a BLog to more easily this page, and allow user feedback. VPC BLOG. It is still in the initial stage of setting up, but feel free to use it to provide feedback.
August 2004Getting back to working on the site, running all pages through HTML Validation and correcting/fixing/updating as necessary.
8/15/2000Back in May the site's server was bolixed up by the ISP service. I finally got around to moving it to this new site, as established a domain name. Enjoy.
4/17/2000Neon VincentIdentified that I had two (1818s) in the 19th Century Correlation table, a typo.
1/9/2000The date for Hanukkah was incorrect for the year 2002. I lost the e-mail that informed me of this, but I appreciate the notification.
12/4/1999Peter D. NoerdlingerPointed out that the Julian Date Calendar (and Leap Calender) were mis-labeled. They are now labeled as "Day of Year".
11/7/1999Amy StewartPointed out that the I had specified Mother's Day for 2002 incorrectly as May 5, the correct date is May 12.
Rod DavisNoted there is an additional measurement (the Olympiad, being 4 years) to add to my Time Measurements Page. He also provided additional information about Julian-Gregorian Calendar change which I will incorporate in the future.

  Expanded the Holiday List out till 2010. For the Orthodox Easter and Jewish Holidays I still need to complete these out through 2010.
  Added a Year Correlation Matrix, where for each century listed it identifies which calendar refers to which year. this is useful if you wish to print a hardcopy of the pages for use off-line.

  Added a matrix at the bottom of each calendar to list the years the calendar corresponds to. this list is limited to the years in the 20th and 21st centuries only.
  Added for each Calendar a pointer to the next year and prior year. this, for the Leap Years is simple since the next and prior years are always going to be non-leap years. For the non-leap years (Calendars 0-7) there are two next and two previous buttons. the first is for when the following year is a leap year, the second is for those where the following year is a non-leap year.
