It is important to know when banks are closed as a lot of business needs to get done with banks open. Here below are days whereby you won't be able to go to a bank due to its closure for that day.

The banks are closed on New Years Day which occurs every year on January 1st.

The banks are closed on Martin Luther King Day which is always the third Monday in the Month of January.

The banks are closed on George Washington Day which occurs on the 3rd Monday of February. This holiday is also known as Presidents day.

The banks are closed on Memorial day which always fall on the last Monday of May.

The banks are closed on Independence Day which comes on the 4th of July.

The banks are closed on Labor Day which comes on the first Monday of September. Many people refer to Labor Day as the end of summer.

The banks are closed on Columbus Day which occurs on the 2nd Monday of October.

The banks are closed on Veteran's Day which is always on November 11th.

The banks are closed on Thanksgiving Day which falls on the 4th Thursday of November. When there are 5 Thursdays in November, Thanksgiving is still on the 4th Thursday of the month.

The banks are closed on Christmas Day which of course is on December 25th.
