3 Column vs 4 Column Calendars
There are many different ways to view a calendar. Of course the traditional calendar has 12 pages, each detailing the dates in a given month. However, as technology has innovated, users have gotten use to seeing everything at once. And when many look at a yearly calendar, they want to see it all in one place.
When viewing a calendar on one screen, the 3 column and 4 column formats are most common. On our website, we display both formats to give the user a taste of how different calendars look. Some of the years Virtual Calendar 2 is used in include 2002, 2013, 2019, 2030, 2041, & 2047. Here you can see the calendar in the 4 column format. Some of the years Virtual Calendar 6 is used in include 2005, 2011, 2022, 2033, 2039, & 2050. Here you can see the calendar in the 3 column format.
As you can see, it's a pretty simple difference, as one column shows 3 months across the top row and the other calendar shows 4 months across the top row. The dates don't change on either calendar.
